The Changes…Conquer It!

When I was born twenty years ago, the world witnessed the birth of one of the OrCommunicologists there is now. I was not prepared to land on where I am now but I am happy because I have been part of a revolution where I play as the soldier and communication as the weapon.

Buzz It Here And There!

Passion For Fashion Goes On!

We started to build our ideals when we were kids. Most of us, I assumed, wanted to be teachers, nurses and doctors. Growing up with my mom and grandmother who both know how to sew clothes, I was partly influenced to be a designer (although I admit I first wanted to be a doctor) and make people’s clothes. I even dreamed of becoming a model until I realized I am stuck with this height. This dream career was hyped up when I entered high school. I gained friends who dress really well and whose sense of fashion I really adore.

Fun With Trolls No More!

I have been eagerly conscious with my academic standing these past few days. And I do not know why people do not understand my situation. I do not understand why they insist on doing something even if it cannot be done anymore.

What’s Hot and What’s Not?

View ImageWhen professors require you to read online articles, it may be no fun.

In our Debate and Argumentation class, our professor required us to constantly read articles on the websites of Al Jazeera, The Economist and The Philippine Daily Inquirer to make ourselves aware of the issues happening around the globe. I guess it was NOT an unreasonable requirement. Being an Iskolar ng Bayan entails critical thinking whenever an idea is discussed and one cannot do that if he/she knows nothing. Since then, reading articles from these sites plus other sites (including Time’s) became a habit. Although I admit that I do not read all of the articles, I read those that I deem helpful to my life as a student and as a responsible citizen of Earth.

An article entitled “10 Things You Shouldn’t Do On Facebook” caught my attention as I was browsing through the site of Time. It was funny because I have read other posts on things that should not be done online and on Facebook but this offered a different perspective.

My internship at Primer Group of Companies was a fun-filled experience since that was first experience of a real job on a real company. My first few days were a bit frightening because I met the bosses and I was sort of scared of the tasks that will be given. However, it all turned out fun because my immediate boss, Ms. Maddie, guided me all throughout my internship journey.
